The Beginning

Andrew and I have been discussing adoption for the past few years. We've cycled through a lot of questions together. We've spent a lot of time trying to find the right time, moment, and space for the choice. After many discussions and prayers, we've finally made the choice.

We are moving forward with adoption.

To some, this understandably might come as a surprise. To others, this might be exactly what you were expecting. In whatever camp you find yourself in, we're happy to have you included in this journey.

We are excited, and nervous, for how our family might grow in the next few years. Adoption could take years. We could wait up to 3-4 years before a placement occurs, but we know that there is a child out there that will fit perfectly in our home. We know and trust that whoever that child is will be the greatest addition to our family.
